What does it consist of?
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is an X-ray examination that creates a 3D image of the head, especially the teeth and jaws, quickly and painlessly.
It is mainly used in dentistry to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning, such as implants, orthodontics, or surgery, allowing the doctor to see bones and teeth in great detail with a controlled radiation dose.
